Can we talk about the same things?

Almost any issue can be discussed in an online therapy session. Some people even find that it is easier to discuss or handle certain emotional issues online.

How do online session over Zoom work?

Online sessions are very similar to face to face sessions. The day and time will stay the same each week with the only difference being is how the therapist “meets” you. The quality and process of the therapy work will be the same whether your sessions are online or face to face.

Are online therapy sessions confidential?

One of the most asked questions about online therapy is to do with confidentiality and safety. You may be concerned that your therapy session is not as confidential as one held in the same room. Please be reassured that your therapist will only use an online therapy system that is encrypted between your computer and theirs so that no one can eavesdrop on your conversation. Also, all of our team will conduct your online appointments in a private, secure room maintaining the same standards of privacy and confidentiality as in personal face to face therapy. Your therapist will advise you about how to make sure that you are also able to talk openly and confidentially from where you are.

Is it possible to have couples’ therapy online?

All of our services are available online. With couples, you have the option of being in the same room together for your session or being in different locations. You can talk to your specific therapist about how the sessions will take place and talk through any concerns you might have.
