About
I am a qualified psychosexual and relationship therapist with experience with individuals and couples at the NHS Sexual Clinic at Croydon University Hospital and in private practice. Treatment of difficulties included vaginismus, low desire, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and other difficulties. I have an initial qualification in art psychotherapy and in this capacity I have worked with young people and adults. My theoretical approach is Integrative (use of Systemic, Gestalt, Mindfulness, Humanistic with psychodynamic principles and understanding). During treatment we will explore your needs and your goals together. I will give you relevant sexual information, activity assignments, and together we will explore your beliefs, assumptions and early influences. Every therapeutic journey is unique and I will support you through your process of self-exploration. Please feel free to contact me if you would like an initial consultation.
My training and education include an MA in Art Psychotherapy (Roehampton University) with a focus on working with young people and adults with learning disabilities, Asperger Syndrome and Autism, a Diploma in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapy and Counselling Supervision (Terapia), a Foundation training in Systemic Family & Couple Psychotherapy (Prudence Skynner Family & Couple Therapy Clinic, Springfield University Hospital, SW London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust), a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art (Chelsea College of Arts), a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Concordia University).
