About
I have worked therapeutically with clients for over a decade in the NHS, third-sector and privately. In addition to my independent work, I currently hold an NHS psychologist post in a HIV and Sexual Health Service in Central London. I have a keen interest in the areas of sexuality, intimacy and sexual difficulties. I completed my doctoral thesis on male sexual dysfunction and its treatments, and am specialising further by completing a post-graduate training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy.
I have been trained in multiple models of psychological therapy, with the aim of helping each individual or couple make sense of their difficulties and move in a direction which is beneficial for them. Therapy is tailored to each client or relationship, specific to their own history, experience and goals. Relational thinking (psychodynamic and attachment theory) underpins my practice and I draw on third-wave CBT (ACT, DBT, CFT) and trauma-informed approaches (EMDR) where appropriate.
I am committed to social justice and try hard to create an open space where all identities can be discussed, such as race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual practices, ability, religion and age.
